My great great great great (OK I forget how many greats) granddaddy lived on a hill in western Missourah and served as a lookout to warn the town below when goddam Yankee theivin' jayhawkers and redlegs was riding in from the west to loot, pillage, and burn. And I'm a Mizzouian. That there's the damn truth.
Course, said great-to-the-nth-power grandad was later conscripted into the Union army cuz you southern ****s left us alone for dead while not even able to handle your own business, so in that sense yeah, we're both.
But being abandoned by pussy Southern states and pressed into service is not the same as dishonesty.
.......well, come to think of it, yeah I guess it kinda is.
