EC championships are like 5 Championships in any other conference
Bull shite. Maybe recently but not historically.

Basically Missouri and Kentucky have 2, that would prove my point
No, you are not entitled to your own facts Grits.

As to bowls that might mean something
You are such a tool.

MU 4-5, respectable, but not being in SEC means easier to get in good bowls
Just fricking stop man.
quote:
MU .547 and 650 wins
UK .496 and 586 wins
Granted MU has added wins and a slightly better all time percentage but that is more than balanced by the arse pounding UK suffered as a member of the SEC as a charter member. Again, neither is impressive and both are about dead center on the standard bell curve, yet again proving my point.
No. You are an idiot. Thats the only thing you "proved"
The SEC is strong now. Hasnt always been head and shoulders above other conferences.

finally playing in a real football conference and not lots and lots of pussy wins
Oh my. What a douche. "pussy wins"?
Kentucky sucks historically and is not even close to Mizzou's program which is average.
Them the facts. No spin.
What years did Kentucky win the SEC East again? I forget sometimes.

Mizzou was in a god awful conference for nearly their entire existence. That's also a fact.

They are both close to .500 man, that is neither bad nor good, that is pretty much the definition of average. Keep telling yourself Tigers are better but when the final score is Missouri or Kentucky by a TD.
Calling me names does not make Mizzou better but I guess you need it to get you through your average existence.
Really man, using 13 conference championships up to WWII
Dores had that many before 1933, congrats on being as good as Vanderbilt in football.

Yea, them yankees will never come into the SEC from that sub par non football conference and have success let alone win the East....

You brought it up Grits. YOU brought up historical aspects of the two programs.
I just, uncomfortably for you obviously, pointed out your painting of the two programs as historically "equal" was complete bullshite but simply laying out the facts.
How you feel you want or need to spin shite after the fact is on you. The facts are here in the open for folks to make their own judgments.

In the worst year in 25 years? Sure. Congrats. Enjoy it because it will never happen again.

Asking for a friend, what's the biggest lead Petrino ever blew at Arkansas

Here comes the "poor me" section of your normal nonsense. You started the crap, again. I just clarified your spin on historical aspects and you went into full "douche" mode with your shitty nonsense laced diatribe trying to spin the simple facts.

A lot versus Kentucky. The 7 overtime game. I think that was petrino.

I don't have the time or inclination to read through y'alls debate, cheese and kilo. But to cheese and others trying to hide behind UK's SEC membership as opposed to Mizzou's Big 8/12 membership over the years to defend UK having a poorer all time record, please stop. It does nothing to explain Mizzou forging a winning all-time record against all but one of the other existing SEC members during its time in the Big 8/12, including a 7-3 record *against* the SEC in bowl games.
The high horsing about the SEC throughout its history ignores what teams like OU and Nebraska did historically, the powers that teams like Texas were nationally during the Big 12 years etc. And if you argue "well sure but those leagues were top heavy" well that doesn't do anything to defend UK sorry because it doesn't disprove that perhaps the SEC was also top heavy many years. It's just a bad argument IMHO.
The numbers are what they are all the way around. UK has been far better historically in basketball, Mizzou has been better historically in football. Both sides should accept that and either that doesn't - some of our own younger, nuttier hoops fans included - is deluding themselves.

Mizzou's all time record against the SEC.
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:26 pm to Cheese Grits
Vanderbilt winning percentage: .498
Kentucky winning percentage: .496
You are just all over the place Grits. Are you on tilt?
You can cherry pick nonsense and build your straw men, like you always do, or you can just own the reality and the entirety of the argument.
Your choice Obi Won.
