Dude that was just latarian trolling and you bit hard. DGB had a commitable offer from damn near any school in the nation he wanted to go to. You can't take the rant so seriously or you'll never get out alive. BTW read today that James is throwing darts in practice right now and is definitely gonna be ready. Mizzou staaaackkkkeedd. SEC fuccckkkeeeddd.

Throwing darts, and that aint all. It just came out that he admitted to playing injured all last season. Now he's 100% and ready to go.

Kick the tires and light the fires! Here we go!

Mizzou coaches demanding SEC respect via t-shirts Well if were talking about "respect" nobody should respect you after you made the comment that DGB didnt have a "commitable" offer from Arkansas. Are you fricking serious dude?! the number one player in the nation didnt have a commitable offer from Arkansas, a middle tier SEC team, but from every other school in the country he couldve called them that night and they wouldve taken him i mean i understand raggin on mizzou cuz were new but that is just so dumb it really is hard to comprehend... wow wow

I heard he wasn't smart enough to learn our playbook, lazy route runner and couldn't take a big hit.
I also heard Saban pulled the offer to DGB too. The only other team besides Mizz in hot pursuit was Oklahoma (who thought they snagged Courtney Gardner from us but we pulled his offer too b/c of schoolwork...everybody thought we were making that up but have you seen the latest on CG...).

and i havent even addressed their monumetal Cotton Bowl win over a head coach-less team that was so disappointed in the season outcome and having to face a lower tier Big 12 team they just mailed it in.

also heard Dmc and Felix were partying at Baby Dolls until 4am the day of the game

My take on the shirt is the SEC garners respect because the conference is so tough. I don't think they are demanding respect from opponents. Let's face it, they made a big move up in competition which can only help their program in the long run.

It is a shame we aren't playing Arkansas this season. We'd kick your arse. You'd blame it on a lack of a permanent coaching staff. It'd be just like old times.

So, this thread is still happening. To all the new Mizzou posters: some of the Arky's are delusional, some are master trolls. Latarian falls into the master troll category. If you decide to wade in....just know what you're getting into.

I think you are misinterpreting the point of the shirts.

This.

The shirts are for the Mizzou players to EARN respect

And this.

Plus, I'd say there is an angle of "we'll get more respect for our achievements if we perform well in the SEC"

Doesn't seem like they are "demanding" respect.

Everything I have heard from the Missouri coaches and players is that they are honored to be a part of the SEC. They have said they know they need earn respect and that it won't come easy.
