Our baseball coach should take note of what winning will get ya. Win and you get new toys.

Something I never thought about being needed with a new stadium. Note on page 8 that the new stadium comes complete with a "lactation" room. Call me a naive dumbass, but I guess that's needed?!?!? Is that what I'm thinking it is??!? Guess I just never thought of the need of that at a sports venue.

Good upgrade. Looks like it will seat about the same as the new UK softball complex.

Looks better than Mizzou's baseball stadium.

Wow, that will be the nicest softball stadium in the conference. Congrats.

doesn't make much sense the way they have it, it should be facing the other direction(south) on that side of the lot, so the outfield greenspace would connect to the Hinkson creek park area.

This is why you don't let "educators" make any important decisions.

Pics?

Seriously though, this is a good idea, esp with softball and gymnastics since young girls (and their breast feeding younger siblings) attend these in higher numbers.

No, no, no...it's facing exactly the way it needs to face, in order for that canopy to work as intended.

We live in the northern hemisphere, so the sunlight comes from the south. A south facing stadium means a canopy is useless, since the sunlight would shine right under it.

Just ask the Florida fans about their baseball stadium.

Looks like those "educators" know what they're doing, after all.

Another Tiger may have that already nailed down.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I can't agree. Tiger Park is due for an upgrade, based on what Arkansas, Kentucky, and South Carolina already have, and what Texas A&M and Mizzou are building.

They can build bigger and newer but they can't fix the weather. Kentucky and Missouri will have nice new buildings but I have been to softball games in UK's new facility and they are damn cold when softball season rolls around.

I hear ya. Tiger Park could easily sell another 500-1,000 tickets if there was room. It's a great crowd, you see the same faces all the times. A really great place to bring kids, especially daughters.

LSU fans have as much fun socializing as watching sporting events...
