Are you kidding? You do realize you were down 11 at this point in the game and Auburn failed to score only once since mid 3rd quarter meaning that Mizzou would have never caught up moron

Please. He was a good 3 yards out of bounds when he pushed him.

Good News...... it was due to the sign.

Bad News....... it was an Auburn Cheerleading sign.

Fwiw, I believe we would have had a better chance against Bama last year. That was a better matchup for us personnel wise. And our DC does some great things, but defending the option is NOT one of them.

I'm still haunted by the Texas Bowl vs. Navy. Ran all day.

Very true. Auburn was just a very poor matchup for us. Steckel is confounded by the option stuff. That was one of the worst game plans of all time and they couldn't fix it at halftime either.

It's over. Put it away. Ifs and might-haves and couldas are not the way to live your life my son. Accept what happened as your karma and move-on. Let it go, otherwise you'll be dwelling on what might have been for the rest of your life.

Bless your heart.

SCAR fans felt the exact same way, so we can relate. Ever SCAR fan friend of mine I talked-to back then said the same thing ... "Ohhhh, just let us get to Atlanta and we will beat Bama, they are beatable."

But Auburn was playing along and neither was Mizzou. Ole Miss and A&M really let us down, especially A&M. We were so sure Mizzou would lose another one and we'd be facing Bama in Atlanta, we'd win the SEC and by gosh we'd have a chance at the big title ... Bama was beatable and we had the perfect team to beat them.

Owell. Moved-on by signing day and now can't wait for this season to get underway.

Bama will definitely be the team to beat again this season, although I am not sure they will be nearly as beatable as last.

How ironic was it that the sign said "Defense"

No, Auburn was the better team, but I would have rather played FSU due to our play style. Hell I would have rather played any other team than Auburn.
