Missouri really does not get enough credit

Just looking back, most media analysts picked Mizzou 4th in the East last year.
The year before, I think they were mostly predicted to finish 5th or 6th in the East.
Isn't it about time we acknowledged that Pinkel and his players have done a really good job transitioning to the SEC?
This year I am sure they will probably get picked third or fourth in the East.
This year, they get South Carolina, Florida , Miss State and Tenn at home. Drawing Miss State and Arkansas from the West is a pretty good pull as well.
If they make it again this year, are we finally ready to admit that Mizzou has a pretty damn good program?

Yours is a much better argument, however. I was just talking about how people keep perceiving Missouri as not up to par.
I have to admit, I have become quite fond of Mizzou. You can call them lucky or over achievers or whatever you want, but they have made it to the top of their division in back to back years.

Auburn and Alabama fans starting threads defending Mizzou football in July. Bizzaro day on the rant for sure.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that our passing game will be shite this season. I was hoping that we could skate by with a decent running game and an exceptional D, but we've lost two starters on the D-line for the season (one kicked off the squad, and of course Brantley injured in a car wreck), so D-line depth may be an issue.
