Four 40oz beers is 160 oz

A drink has a relatively specific definition. I believe it's a 1 oz shot, 12 oz of beer, or 5 oz of wine.

Urban myth propagated by an old government service announcement ad.

Proofs are what matter. Alcohol content.

A shot of grain alcohol is more potent than a shot of liqueur, and so on and so forth. European beer, lagers and ales, typically have a far higher alcohol content than our shitty mass-produced American rice beers.

That's a false anti-alcohol glamorization propaganda poster. The truth is most students get shite faced and the older folks probably have less then a 6 pack. I've been out of the state for awhile, but I know Mizzou was trying very hard to limit alcohol at tailgating. They went so far as to close a major tailgating area(reactor field). Maybe some folks that have been to CoMo recently can shed some light on what's changed since 2010.

I haven't seen it in years. Hence why I said "is this still a thing".

That Georgia excuse seems a little convenient.
