I don't have to assume this, I know this because of institutionalized racism - which if you haven't been paying attention, is what these football players are fighting against.

I went to an elementary school that was 80% black.

I grew up in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas-Fort Worth. As soon as my parents could afford to move out we did. But for the first 10 years of my life I was subject to drive by shootings, murders, and burglaries on a regular basis in the streets around me and sometimes even on my own street.

My parents didn't contribute one dime to my college education, a car when I turned 16, or anything. I got my first job when I was 13.

I couldn't go to outings at my Church, paintball for example, because my parents couldn't afford the $25 fee to go play.

But I had everything handed to me, right?

Lets talk about how over 85% of abortion procedures are done by black females.


Tell me, do black lives REALLY matter?

What about the kid that's gonna kill himself by starving to death? What does the university do about this without giving in to demands? Where the frick are this kids parents? Will he actually have the willpower to go through with it when his stomach starts literally eating itself and his other organs start shutting down? It's supposedly one of the most painful things you could experience. I just have one other question.... WHERE IS THIS KID'S PARENTS??

I think the various departments at the school coming forward and voting almost unanimously 'no confidence' in the university president will ultimately get him fired, not the protests and shite. If it's going to happen, it needs to happen soon so the university can save as much face as possible in this situation. Putting off what might be inevitable is just doing more harm than good.

Another angle nobody's talking about: how will the football team recruit any black players there any time soon?

Pretty sure I've never been treated close to as well as Missouri football players
