Only an insecured person can come up with a thought like this. Maybe you have too much time to waste on a nonsense topic like this.

Are you sure about this? We're 6 pages in, and the number of personal insults far outnumber the legitimate responses. Would be an interesting case study from Dr. lsupride87 for sure.

Tusc, Yet to see an LSU fan post anything that shows that Mizzou isn't more relevant than them other than them getting us on a off season in one game. shite don't look good for them.

You guys make a cute couple!
Do you think Missouri will ever win a SEC Championship?
Do you think Missouri will ever win a National Championship?
Which one of you is top or bottom?
You guys can hold hands and answer together or separately if you like.

All totally irrelevant, Mizzou has been closer to an SEC Championship and a National Championship then LSU has since expansion and that is not even a point you can argue. Facts are facts bitches.

It's clear which program is in better shape overall.

How has a program such as LSU fallen below Missouri? Very odd.

C'mon now

Don't forget an 11 win season, a 12 win season, a Top 5 finish, two division championships - resulting in two appearances in Atlanta.

We have had some of those things as well lol. We also play in the harder division.

LSU has 14 conference championships. How many does Missouri have?

Wasn't the OP the same poster defending Florida in the "LSU vs. Florida vs. Auburn" thread by saying Florida played in a tougher division compared to LSU and the SEC West?

Now we get a thread about Mizzou being better after playing in one of the weakest P5 divisions during that span and capitalizing on it?

Troll on, I guess.

ETA: A quick check... yep

Why do you people continuously ignore the one thing that makes almost all of those arguments irrelevant? The SEC West was a complete CAKE WALK compared to the SEC East. You don't have to like it or even acknowledge it. That's just the way it is.

Championships and being in position to win one is the essence of being relevant.

This is football, not horseshoes!

And if you want to use who's "closer"...
Missouri can play in the Sec Championship game for the next 10 years (which you won't, and you won't play in one) and you will never be closer than LSU to winning a National Championship.
And you were never closer than LSU to winning a National Championship since you've been in the conference...
You're just not good enough and not even in the conversation.

Well Mizzou was one game away in 2007 and one game away in 2013.

Thats completely false. A win in the SEC Championship game in 2013 over BCS #4 Auburn would have put BCS #5Mizzou in the National championship game.

LSU had to hope for a BCS #1mizzou loss on conference championship weekend to backdoor into the National championship game in 2007. Im sure none of you had any conversations about Mizzou football that year.

You are making my points....
You had no chance of winning!
You would have never beaten any West team.
Guess what....you won't have a chance to win the East again.
Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida ( I hate to admit) are all trending up.
This means you have no chance!
Don't forget about Kentucky!
It's over!
So if y'all want to run around saying your program is better than LSU or you've been more successful, or whatever you want to claim that makes you feel better...we'll have at it!
Good for you...you're better than LSU!

P.S.
I don't know of any LSU fans that even mention Missouri football....
So you've done a good job of making us recognize your superiority

You seem legit.

Ok....you are correct
I'm wrong
But...I've always liked Missouri...Tony Galbreath....
I have connections to St.Louis, been there several times since I was a kid.
Went to two Cardinal games, one in both stadiums.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you the first game I went to. (Hint, Hank Aaron was on the opposing team)
In any event, I just don't understand you Missuori fans attacking LSU fans.
Why would you want to create an adversary that doesn't exist?
You don't think we were pulling for you to win those SEC Championship games???
C'mon man!

Put Mizzou in a real division and you'd have been back in the Big Whatever by now, hoss.

Our DL coached absolutely humiliated that shite program of yours. Imagine what a "relevant" team would have done.

"Closer to"?

Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself. Relevant programs don't take pride in being "closer to". You either did or you didn't, and you didn't.
