I know being 0-18 in basketball sucks.
Losing your last four athletic directors to lower tier school or lateral moves isn’t good . Having LSU poach your better staff members for lateral moves. Almost reminds me of A@M fans after wk 6-8 every year .

We didn’t lose our AD. We are gaining a new one. This has been at least a year in the making. No one at the university is shedding any tears.

I’ll never understand why someone would want to be a 100% shitposter. We all enjoy the ribbing and “give and take” of the board, but some people just want to be legit assholes with every post. I don’t see the jollies in it, but maybe some people just didn’t get hugged enough when they were kids.

Mizzou won 11 games in football and beat Ohio State in a bowl game this season. Drink isn't going anywhere. He has another solid recruiting class coming in. He did a nice job in the portal. We didn't lose any key players to other schools. The program just got a $62 million dollar donation. We're finally building out the north end zone and adding more seats and boxes.
Seems like a good trade for a dumpster fire of a basketball season.
And besides, we're Mizzou fans. Do you really think a bad season or an athletic director leaving scares us away? Unlike spoiled OU fans, we've endured a lot of unfortunate decades of sports.

It is what it is, our Basketball team is atrocious. Can't complain sports wise we enjoyed a great CFB year and still basking in the glow of a Super Bowl win. As for looking forward I gotta admit after last year I thought we had found our guy in Gates and that has blown up.

Missouri basketball is not good. In the 80’s or early 90’s I would have cared. SEC and college basketball regular season is mostly unwatchable. Still enjoy March Madness. Refs let them play.
