Does not compute. You are aware the best two receivers in the league will be on our roster next year, correct?

Two different people made those comments! I claim the secondary comment - and there's not a single team in the SEC I won't be worried about, at least the first time or two we play them. We have to prepare for at least 7 teams next year that we've not faced, at least not with current rosters. They'll all have unfamiliar schemes and will all be gunning for the new kid. I think that transition alone is going to be a tough challenge.

I figure we'll do OK, probably lose some games we shouldn't and surprise some people along the way with wins they don't expect. I'm looking forward to playing Tennessee - have Vols in my family and it's a stadium I've always wanted to go to.

Oh, and as far as the best two receivers? We'll have some good ones too, have some good young talent that didn't get playing time this year.

If you were at mu/Nebraska or mu/ku games then you know what I'm talking about. Especially ku games. We can get pretty bad at times. I truly don't think we'll be surprised.

We've done our research. Y'all aren't from mars for shite sake! Well maybe the majority of ya'll are...

I lived in Blue Springs, MO for 6 years and was at the KU-MU game that decided who was No.1 in the nation in the next ranking a few seasons ago at Arrow Head. The noise level and atmosphere was mediocre at best. However, I did see a cool fight in the food line.

With that said, I think MU is a quality addition.

I don't believe I mentioned anything about noise level. I made a comment about good and bad Mizzou fans and whether or not I'll be surprised by any SEC fan base.

I was at that MU/KU game. I think I may have been in the same line as you. There were no shortage of fights. A fight erupted in the bathroom while I stood in line to piss. A fight broke out in the stands when an MU guy threw a full beer into a section of Jayhawk fans. It hit a small, femininely framed jayhawk guy in the back of the head. He turned around, pointed at the Mizzou fan and whined, "Hey buddy. I'm going to get you kicked out of here. I'm telling Security."

He got out of his seat and did exactly that. Security escorted the Mizzou fan out of Arrowhead. However, at halftime the Mizzou fan's friends confronted the Jayhawker and told him not to leave the stadium because they would be waiting for him outside. I have no idea what happened to that poor little jayhawker.

I'll miss games against KU, but I look forward to Mizzou playing in the SEC so much more...

Missouri's average BMI is only higher than Georgia and Florida in the SEC....

You're gonna have to eat a lot more if y'all want to fit in.

I accept that challenge!

Same here. I'm looking at making the game at Tennessee a five day trip with some time in Gatlinburg.

It may not have whiskey in it, but it won't be empty. Full of either dip spit or piss...
