I guess you don't understand how matchups work. The style of play by Mizzou's offense challenges dbs to man up and press them to cover slants and post routes. That's the strength of LSU's entire team. Mizzou needed to win on those short routes to extend drives and they never found that rhythm. They never controlled the clock and that allowed LSU to keep controlling the pace and wear down Mizzou to the tune of 400+ rushing yards.....without Fournette.

"Steele" seemed to have a decent showing last weekend, and against Clemson for that matter. I wonder what the problem was last season?

- Steele's 2015 LSU defense: gave up 14 TDs in first five games.

- Steele's 2016 Auburn defense: given up 8 TDs in first five games.

- Aranda's 2016 LSU defense: given up 5 TDs in first five games.

Don't think it was the best, but from a fan's perspective being at the game, it was very aggravating. When Missouri had the ball, might as have turned off the big screens or stop trying to show replays. Would look at a replay and then realize Missouri had already snapped the ball on their next play.
