Mizzou and Kansas don't gain anything from playing one another in basketball or football.
They are both terrible in baseball though. How about a baseball rivalry?

Not sure why I even bother, but the MU - ku rivalry is actually based in Civil War violence. Mo rebels burned Lawrence to the ground and killed many "jayhawkers."
Sort of related, in the B12, Mizzou was always called slavers by other schools. It is nice to be in a conference where at least that title isn't thrown at us. Although you jackasses have plenty of other insults.
