I'm pretty sure it's mostly the result of all the "wait until basketball starts" posts during the abortion that was Missouri's football season. While you had a better season than most SEC teams, that isn't saying a whole lot, and most SEC fanbases don't really give a shite about basketball. It's a football conference minus Kentucky.

This is a big part of it but the bigger part is you guys were no shows for your game. All this talk of the Antler and I was looking forward to seeing them live. SEC is about winning sure, but more importantly it is about being part of the show.
If basketball is your thing then you need to show up and show your colors. It was embarrassing not to have the only SEC team in Rupp yesterday and have them be AWOL. I know the Hogs fans troll you on here but this is about acting like a real SEC team. Step up to the plate and folks will respect you even if you lose. However, if you guys do not show up in the first place you will continue to get grief on here.

I know a select few made those kind of comments while talking shite. But I know some of the comments were made more in the vain of acknowledging how much of an abortion the football season was and anxious to just move onto the next season and hopefully that will be better.
Pretty much like now, this entire year has been an abortion for Mizzou athletics. Just shoot this year and put it out of its misery and move on to next year. I don't think that's talking shite. Just the opposite. This has sucked and hopefully next year is better. Doesn't mean we win anything, just that it's better than this putrid year.

You went 11-7 in conference play. You got lost road games to teams that finished below you.
Our Pigs were one game behind you in SEC play and you only had 2 less losses overall.
Also, to further prove your stupidity, playing at Michigan, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Northwestern State, Robert Morris at home and facing Wisconsin and Arizona State in Las Vegas....that's terrible OOC eh? Fly a fricking kite Broseph.
Missouri was one of the most talented teams in the NCAA tourney, yet exited in the first round. It's sad, but don't bring the Hogs into it. It's not our fault your coach doesn't have a clue. It's not our fault your fan base closed up shop early in football season and started making threads about how good your basketball team would be.
Quit your bitching and take your lumps like every other fan base does on this site.

I didn't realize they started handing out participation awards in college basketball this year. Just making the tournament is nothing more than being mediocre it's all about what you do when you get there.

It's all degrees and obviously it's all about making it further.
Not making the tournament means you aren't very good. I'd rather make the tournament than know we weren't good enough to even make it. Having said that, obviously once you make the tournament, it's all about how far you go in it. Bottom line is:
NC>FF>Making Tourney>Making NIT>CBI>Sitting at home

I had them winning vs CSU, but no fricking way were they going to be a sleeper.
