For all of the talk about Missouri being 14-2 over the past two years in the SEC, they have beaten only ONE team with a winning record in the conference and that was last year. Looks like Pinkel is making a name by beating a bunch of bad east teams.

2013:
Vanderbilt 4-4
Georgia 5-3
Florida 3-5
Tennessee 2-6
Kentucky 0-8
Ole Miss 3-5
Texas A&M 4-4

2014:
South Carolina 3-5
Florida 4-4
Vanderbilt 0-8
Kentucky 2-6
Texas A&M 3-5
Tennessee 3-5
Arkansas 2-6

They lost to South Carolina and Auburn in 2013 and Georgia this year.

Looks like any time they play a decent SEC team they lose. Bama wins this weekend by 21.

Oh and Indiana.

This is only a knock if it is against Mizzou. For Alabama it goes to show you the parity of the SEC West.

This is such a stupid argument. If we hadn't gone 14-2 in this time span then a lot more of the teams would be above .500. Someone has to lose the game you dunces

In fact, to find a division champ with more than 2 such wins you have to go all the way back to 2010.

Dumb argument is dumb.

Combined SEC win percentage of teams Mizzou beat last two years: 35% ...

...and Bama: 37%

Alabama - one win vs SEC teams with winning conference records each of the last two seasons:

2014 - 5-3 Mississippi State
2013 - 5-3 LSU

So impressive.

I think the Mizzou fans facts about Bama's record made the OP go into hiding. When I saw the title, I was thinking since Auburn and LSU finished 4-4 that Bama probably didn't have many more than that. The fact is that in any given year there will most likely be no more than 3 teams per division with winning conference records, and if one of those teams is the team in question, then only two potential wins available anyway.

Yes it's stupid. Now for all the Mizzou fans getting their panties in too big a bunch I will say MSU, Auburn, LSU, West Virginia are better wins than South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and UCF (we both played A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee, & Florida). How the hell they lost to Ole Miss is beyond me but maybe that is just one of those teams like A&M whose number we have for some reason.

The SEC West has won 5 SEC title games in a row and has produced 4 national champions and 6 national champion game participants over that span.

But ya, keep telling yourself the East is just as good at the moment.
