Mississippi State has played Bama close that past few years but at some point they always go brain dead. Not just players but coaches also

It's almost as if they realize, "Hey we're Mississippi State, We're NOT supposed to beat Bama".

The line being -6 says there's a chance, but I doubt the anyone in Starkvegas thinks they'll actually close the deal

We just don't have the talent to beat Bama. Doesn't really have anything to do with mindset or lack of coaching. Switch coaches and Saban loses to Mullen.

Go over to ED. There's an entire subculture over there that thinks State should and will win every game. They're the True Believers of the normal fanatics.

How has OM done it two years in a row? I guess we've got substantially more talent?

As the SJW would, this is "problematic" thinking.

Bama outrecruits every team in the conference but they haven't gone undefeated since 2009 which would say they can be beat

You do have a lot of talent. You have 4 first rounders on your team. Coaching is your problem.

I held fast through 2012 and have remained through the monumental failure of 2015. I would say I'm slightly about fair weather

Think of me as the LSU version of an Auburn fan. I hate everything even when we're winning,

Nah, you had substantially more breaks and they are part of the game but:

5 turnovers-how often does Bama do that?

The helmet play-luck

illegal man downfield-how Ritter missed this is ....well

And still had to HANG ON to win. Ole miss won, its in the record books but I doubt you really believe you dominated us. I also don't think you believe you'd beat us again.
You won (by 6) but don't act like some crazy shite didnt also happened that night.

I don't think MSU has the horse on the Oline to keep Dak upright. Bama's front is just plain nasty.

I hope I'm wrong.

They had no trouble beating LSU in Tiger Stadium last year for the first time in a decade and a half.

State is a dangerous team right now. Alabama is better and should win, but State will not just roll over. Davis Wade will be rocking with the cowbells and all. This is not a gimme win. If Alabama wins, they will deserve a lot of credit as this will be a very quality win against a tough SEC team on the road.

I think it's more like "Hey we're Alabama, we aren't supposed to lose to Mississippi State."

You have elite talent in the trenches and on the peremeter on offense. Not to mention a secondary that can play at an elite level, though it has been inconsistent this year.

State has been much better than projected this year and haven't got much credit for it.

Stadium didn't even sound loud for that final play. Must suck playing in a high school stadium.
