What company was this by?

I don't know, but if I had to guess, it is Yates Construction. They built the last stadium add-on. They have built a lot of high-rise condos down here in FL too.

They didn't take that many pics this time. I want to see the hill and pit and pool area etc.

eta: what is that big empty room used for?

I wish they would have taken about 10000 of that money and put some lights up on the old intramural fields. It would be great to have more time playing flag football and ultimate after dark. Doesn't seem like any non-athlete can get anything. There are taking have of our fields for parking lots. Bunch of bullshite.

Intramural sports bring in 0 revenue for the university. Why should they spend money on something that has no value?

I fully understand this. I also know that better facilities bring in recruits and yada yada yada. I am all for the nice facilities because I want to see this program make it to the next level. I was just stating that it would have been nice if the rest of us could get something. We have to be done playing by dark. Even at community college they had a place for us to play after dark. Also, the intramural fields do have lights, but we aren't allowed on them but for intramural games only. I was talking about the old fields that everybody plays on.

Also, there is value to it. We pay money to go here. We should have a place to play outdoor sports at after dark.

Another hog trolling. But I'll be honest, I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Can't wait for this to be open! Nice to see our administration TRYING to be competitive with the rest of the SEC. We will never have the largest but no reason we can't have top notch facilities.

Also, about the old intramural fields getting lights...

0% chance of that happening. I talked to someone within the university and there is just too much liability. There is already enough with intramurals (think of all the waivers you've had to sign).

How is the stadium expansion coming along? If it's anything like LSU, it's just a muddy lot with some pile drivers.

Pretty much:
