You started out 7 and 0 in football, how'd that turn out?
Since that dictates how our baseball season will go
Football we were predicted to win about 8 games preseason and thats what happened. Any fanbase would be excited about a 7-0 start.
Baseball we are preseason top 10 in some polls and regarded as a possible Super Regional host and strong candidate to make a push for the CWS so the situations are a bit different.

Purdue is not that good of a team. They lost whatever talent they had last season. They are 3-3 this season including a 20-2 loss to South Florida.

All the Ole Miss fans running their mouth in here need to check the teams they've played. Lets see, all three are 0-4.

When you sweep a TCU team on opening weekend, it's really hard for them to rack up wins in 4 days.

Portland
Grambling
Purdue
We did beat a very good arm for Portland.
Our hitting is a bit suspect as it was last year, but our pitching staff is stacked yet again. We will lose too many games 2-1 or 1-0 which is frustrating, but our staff will give us a chance to win most every game we play.

I expect State to be pretty good this year. OM and State both look like they have pretty good pitching staffs early on.

I agree. It should be a good year of baseball in the state.

Ole Miss has so many pitchers and all of them got a lot better from last season. Buchanan, smith, laxer, ellis dont suck anymore

TCU is awful. Christians can't play baseball. You need people who worship satan like Mantle and Ryan Braun.

You still suck though.
