No wonder MS usually gets beat, 5 dandy dozen members were left off this team. How are these rosters selected?

One of the 5 dandy dozens who didnt make it plays in the MAIS (private school league and wasnt eligible to play in the game) To be selected, your HS coach has to be a member of the Mississippi Association of Coaches, Al Jefferson who is in the NBA now didnt make the MS/AL basketball game b/c his coach wasnt a member.
Coaches on the staff select players based on input from coaches from across the state. There must be at least 1 player from every classificaiton.
Im surprised that Taylorsville's coach didnt select his Dandy Dozen Linebacker and choose an OL instead.
