Catty 50 year old woman who calls the police chief everytime she sees a teenager with his hat on backwards, yes.

In the Fambly, they only enjoy one whiskey drink, don't share with other visiting fanbases, and are sure to make it to bed by 8:00 PM for church in the morning.

State folks seem to be who they are and don't really care what you think about it. And they despise Ole Miss.

I respect that.

Right? It's surprisingly refreshing, in terms of fanbases and their cultures.

I do as well.

They don't feel the need to create some weird cult like aura that only they have to make themselves feel special like other Ag schools in the conference.

Preach.

It's almost like they have accepted their role as little brother, but they don't let that define who they are, unlike Auburn and Aggie.

Kind of like the adage: "don't let where you're from determine where you're going."

They know they have humble beginnings, but that hasn't kept them from becoming, historically speaking, the least productive member of the Southeastern Conference in terms of both academics and athletics.

Good for them

Nothing wrong with tilling land and squeezing utters. It's a noble calling.

There are multiple posts on the front page right now made by Ole Miss posters directed at State. The obsession continues even when we have a bad team.

Remember your entire fanbase freaking the frick out after barely beating a three-win Ole Miss team in 2007?

I do.

And yet a degree from State is, statistically speaking, more valuable than one from Ole Miss. When was the last time you guys were ranked #1 in a big three sport? That's all I've got since neither of us has actually won jack shite.
