Miss State fans talking down on UK like they have a winning record against them. As bad as UK has been historically and you're still only .500 head to head.

I am still trying to get a grasp on a State vs Cats football thread when they are playing a big series this weekend. Plenty of time in the off season for this thread.

You dont. You would have more losses if you played them every year. Spurrier took it to lsu. Too bad for lsu we don't get that opportunity to dodge for years at a time. THey only lead the series 32-28. We lead the series with vandy 22-7 with them beating us one time since 1957.

Man are you seriously trying to argue that it isn't a huge advantage for a team to play vandy every year instead of florida? You can't be serious. I'm sure florida would gladly trade lsu with ole miss as their permanent west opponent too...for the record.

No, we have a winning record on the field. Retroactive forced forfeits by the NCAA(which they don't do anymore they make you vacate the wins) make the series seemed tied. Furthermore, since the first expansion in 92 when we started playing every year as fixed opponents we lead 16-9.

No, we have a better overall all time record, better SEC record, more bowl games and wins, and lead the all time series with Kentucky. So, yes as a State fan I can talk down to Kentucky football, and I don't need a LSU fan telling me otherwise. My OP was in response to UK fan talking down State's spring game.

I am seriously saying that Ole Miss has fared much better against the gators than LSU has. this fact cannot be denied, and I don't know why we are debating it. series records speak for themselves
