They shouldn't be going into the MSU week with a different mindset. They should be ready to go every week no matter the opponent.

LSU gets a big test from State playing young guys in a hostlile enviroment. Though they're extraordinarily talented young cubs

Something tells me he wasn't replying to you, just to the thread in general.

And you gave up 500 yards rushing to one dimensional offense that finish the season ranked

If LSU is evenly matched with Miss ST, the entire recruit ranking system is worthless and should be scrapped. We also have far bigger problems than anyone realizes if Miss St is fielding a Dak Prescott-less team that is evenly matched with the talent of LSU.

It already is. You ever see a 3 star player start to get looked at by Bama or OSU or other top programs and all of a sudden they become a 4-5 star?

This is true. I haven't had much faith in it since they rated TM7 a three star. Wasn't it Lattimore they ranked really low as well? I can't remember.

Yeah yeah I know, but everyone is human and they knew that BYU and Chat weren't beating them. They're naturally gonna respect MSU more and that'll translate to different preparation and mindset

The recruit ranking system is pretty good as a whole.

you say that off of last year? The SEC has had a pretty good showing in the first 2 weeks this year, if you don't count AU, A&M, & Arky then we are looking pretty good

If you mean Marcus Lattimore, he was the #1 APB and a national top 10 overall 5* prospect by both 247 and Rivals. ESPN rated him a high 4* and the #2 RB behind Michael Dyer, even though Lattimore had more total offense, rushing YPG and rushing touchdowns than Dyer in fewer games played in 2010 & 2011. But I think 2010 was one of the first years ESPN started doing recruiting ratings, and obviously they weren't very good at it....
