The head of SEC football PR is a State alum as well.
Are we the new Bama?
For our new friends from Texas, here’s how it goes. State will always be picked at the bottom. Never mind that they have almost every starter coming back from a 9-win team, they will finish last.
They never pick off a big boy, but usually beat the teams that they should. Look up and they finish in the top 25, a respectable 4-4 or 5-3 in the SEC and it’s always “ Well you lost to Alabama, Georgia and LSU”
Ask your Aggy friends how they like us. We will continue to run Texas.

3 sec east teams and 4 former big 12 teams. It’s absolutely blows. They could have at least given us Auburn.

Gonna miss playing State and LSU. We’ve played State almost a hundred times. Shame to see that one end.

It’s kinda sad. We were about to make LSU and Bama our bitch just like we did Auburn. Hell, LSU had one foot in the grave.

No Bama (played every year since ‘39). No Auburn (played all but one season since ‘37). No LSU (played every season since ‘26). Also no Kentucky who was their annual East rival. Of the 5 SEC rivals that Miss St has played the most consecutive seasons against, only one will be on their 2024 schedule (Ole Miss). WTF
We need to go back to 10 or 12 teams asap.

No UGA/UT/Florida..only 1 team on their schedule they’ve played more than 40 times and that’s Clemson
Yeah I don't know how SC doesn't get one of UGA/UT/Florida instead of A&M or Missouri. Makes absolutely no sense.

People don't care about charter vs non-charter members at this point.

I am curious how teams fans are feeling
for us it sucks to see no UGA, no UT, no UF. those are staple games and now they are just gone

Did you mean will not finish last?
We definitely almost always get picked last in pre-season garbage.
Yes we've been middle of the pack to back historically but we haven't actually finished last in SEC since '09 season.

Yea we got fricked out of our best games. Even though Bama whips us, our games against lsu and Auburn have been great the past 8 years or so. Especially Auburn
But newcomer Texas gets all their rivals next year (Aggie, Oklahoma, Arkansas. It’s horseshite for them to piss all over a founding member in favor of “ratings”
