You barely beat state last year, and that was @ bama.
This game is in Starkville.

The Bama D has been dominant against the run this year -- they are always good against the run. This year's state team doesn't run, nor need to run.

Take off the gump-glasses.

Exactly, Dak runs and throws well and Miss St has greatly improved, Dak's going to be a nightmare for Bama.

Maybe MSU will put up more of a fight than LSU did.

No we haven't. We've been wanting them to lose another conference game for many weeks. That's hardly called dick riding.

Big difference for bama at least is the increased speed on the defensive line. Dak is not real shifty, so hoping he does not break off any long runs. Still he has a shot to beat us with his arm, but they have to be concerned with the pass rush with all those offensive line injuries

No but you better have some balance or your passing game will end up on the ESPN editing floor like LSU's run game. This team is not great against the pass but it is very good and they get a lot pressure as evidenced by leading the SEC in sacks. Ragland and Foster will be hitting him the entire game and you won't be able to stop the Bama run game if a much better LSU defense couldn't so your offensive touches will be much less than usual this game.

Enjoy seeing Bama lose to both Mississippi schools, and I'll enjoy seeing the melt and LSU winning the SEC West.

I'm less afraid of this Mississippi State team than last year's and I wasn't afraid of last year's MSU team at all.

The way MSU plays (this year) is not similar at all to how LSU plays (this year). We're more similar to Ole Miss.

We haven't been able to establish a solid running game, but we have 5 WRs and apparently our linemen are much better at pass blocking than run blocking.

I'm sure Dak will get hit and take some sacks, but he can also exploit the bama secondary.

And heck, if the TN QB can run on you, Dak can too (if needed).

If Tenn's young QB could run and throw on Bama's D, imagine what Dak will do.

If mizzou had a QB who could throw they would be a good team. Their D gives up points because they play 45 of 60 mins in each game. Say what you want but this is Daks last chance to show out and beat Alabama..don't forget you guys only won by 5 at home with 3 interceptions in the end zone. Should be a fun game

He couldn't beat a worse defense last year when he had a better team. So probably not.

Gumps conveniently forget that State had almost 100yds more of offense than they did last year. The 3 turnovers, particularly the red zone ones, cost us the game.
