The Starkville Daily News first reported the walk-on's arrest that occurred early Sunday morning.
Mississippi State had no comment on the arrest. MSU coach Dan Mullen is in Georgia competing in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge golf tournament. Mississippi State's official spring roster lists Dixon as an athlete. He played wide receiver during the spring.
Dixon is the youngest of four brothers. He's the third brother to play for MSU. Anthony Dixon is Mississippi State's all-time leading rusher. Rashun Dixon is currently a sophomore tight end.
The arrest continues a loud offseason for Mississippi State.
