Noting all the negatives about Slive, yet the honorable Paul Finebaum almost broke down in tears yesterday while giving his emotional thoughts on his "best friend " retiring. Slive may well get most of the credit for establishing the SEC Network, but the league's 7 NC's ( thanks, aubbie for breaking that string) had a lot more to do with the league's overall strength/reputation. Which gave the league all the leverage it needed in its talks with ESPN.

He did the greatest thing ever in the history of college sports, and that was getting A&M in the SEC. That being said, this is the dumbest shite I have ever heard.
