Mike White 2004–2011 Ole Miss (asst.)

I knew there had to be some kind of Ole Miss tie in with him to explain this ridiculous opinion.

Ridiculous?

UF went 16-17 last year, and is 17-10 in White's first season and on pace to make the NCAA tournament.

I swear some of you don't pay any attention to basketball, only when your team starts to do well.

Either way, Avery has outperformed White by a substantial margin this year. It's not even close

We won 17 games last year. This year we have 22 so far.

Yes it's ridiculous, Florida was picked to finish 5th or 6th in the SEC and that's where they will likely finish.

Alabama was picked to finish 13th and South Carolina wasn't expected to do anything either, therefore their coaches have done great jobs getting those teams to where they are.

Florida hasn't done anything special or unexpected.

You got beat by Alabama at home, I guess that was pretty unexpected.

So should Kennedy get Coach of the Year because he beat Avery head to head?

I am ready to support this.

He is tied for the top with Martin, in my view, followed closely by AJ.

I would put Bama in front of Florida at this point but the award is Martin's to lose by a long way. Then Avery and probably White, Barnes and Kennedy. Although I may put Barnes 3rd now that I think about it.

You wouldn't even have Cal in your top 5? He is probably 4-5 imo

Where does Mike White coach? I have never heard of him before this thread.

The honor should go to Martin, period. Hell no Mike White isn't in the running. Smoke another one.

TBD on White. He's been atrocious at times and we have zero clue if he can recruit. This team is still the same except for Allen. DFS has regressed so far it's depressing.
