Not sure how I feel about this. Some UK fans are rejoicing. He played awful against UT, but had a pretty decent season otherwise. At least we have a few weeks to see who will get the starting job.

he is a good QB. It's a shame he is graduating. He could use the a few extra years and continue to get better.

I agree. He was a late bloomer. He had a hard way to go, too. He got so much shite from fans. I've never seen a player so hated by their own fans. He had a great year, but I feel like if he did play in the bowl game the distraction would be too much, and he'd have a lackluster performance at best. He kinda peaked with the USCe game and played worse each game after that.

Newton has always played well and many thought he should have started all season. He's only a soph, and he'll likely be starting next season, so it will be interesting to see.
