I wanted to see that game too.....I wanted to roll in okie state misery.....My facebook feed blew up with all kinds of crazy former OU fans who jumped on the OSU bandwagon. They were convinced OSU would have lit up LSU.

we (Oklahoma State) would attack it by throwing the ball 50-60 times against them

Alabama and LSU would set records for INTs in one game!

Alabama would win somewhere along the lines of 41-17 or so. I hope he gets to play one of them next year in the Cotton Bowl and get a taste for what would have happened.

Ok St gave up the fewest sacks the last 2 years. They get rid of the ball very quickly. Fumbles and ints are likely. Not QB hits

I guess it gets lost on some folks that outside of the two games Alabama and LSU played against one another, they were averaging over 40 PPG. It's not like shitty offenses were made to look worse.

They do throw deep several times a game though....Their underneath game is based on the fear of them dinking and dunking you to death... Their oline has just never seen a real front 7.

He should stick to his dance routine that he loves to perform for his team

So did OU's 2008 record breaking offense. Something along the lines of 8 sacks all that season, until they faced Florida's defense in Miami.

Mike Gundy is quickly becoming the biggest tool in CFB. Even Lane Kiffin wasn't this annoying at Tennessee. And that's saying something.

You poor thing. Don't worry, you will get to see both Alabama's and LSU's defenses up close and personal next year. Be sure to bring lots of douche to freshen up with afterwards

Its got to be tough outside the SEC. After winning 5 NC's in a row we have to play each other to have a decent game. The realization of that's got to suck for non-sec teams.

This is what I keep thinking. Gundy is only looking at half the picture. He isn't saying anything about what either of the two teams would have done to his shitty defense that let iowa fricking state put 37 up.

I wish Gundy understood how good our offense was. I personally think the OSU LSU game would have looked like the LSU Ark game. They have never seen a defense that resembles LSUs. Bama's is even better than that.

I don't know how he could possibly even consider throwing it 50 times....their defense would be worn out in the first quarter. Their defense sucks pretty bad when they are fresh.

The trick to playing with the LSU's and the Alabama's are to be able to win first down consistently. when you get behind the chains be ready to punt and thank the lord if you don't give up a sack interception or fumble.

The funny thing is, Gundy said himself that he would vote Bama #2 until it looked like his team had a chance to get in the game.

And it's easy to say whatever he wants now since he doesn't have to play either team.

Big 12 defenses don't play press man coverage because their defensive lines typically aren't good enough to get pressure with just 4.

That takes away most of the dink and dunk passing, now your QB has to take longer for routes to develop, take a look at how long JJ had to throw, or how much McCarron moved around. Now factor in Weeden not being mobile and see how long he survives.

Bama was able to throw the ball because they keep LSU out of the Nickel and Dime packages where they get dangerous when you're trying to throw the ball. OSU simply wouldn't be able to run enough to do that.

LSU and Bama's defenses are just brutal when you become one dimensional.

I don't know if OSU would have 50 plays total in the game to work with.
