Nobody cares enough to talk about SC basketball on this site so you are wrong there. Arkansas fans get laughed at because you guys always talk up your team then crap the bed.

The discussion is about this site and the only time track is brought up on this board in the spring is after your baseball team does its annual choke job in the postseason!

The SEC is also widely known as a league of great RBs over the years, and currently have a load of elite backs representing this season

meh, not really this season. lots of talent, but not loads of elite backs.

And of those elite backs, Mike Davis stands above all.

nah, Gurley is the best back and it's not really close.

just because it isn't discussed on here doesn't mean we don't make fun of your program.

He doesn't have the stable of backs to share carries with that other teams have.

This is the exact reason why we as SC fans get laughed at on this site. Mike Davis has great numbers and thankfully he has been healthy so far. Todd Gurley is the best RB in the SEC and its not close! Lets let our guy do it for at least a year before we start crowing.

Please take your personal insecurities out of my thread and cease attempting to hijack, thank you. My thread topic is about the 2013 season in the SEC for running backs (up to this point), and the stats clearly do NOT support your above statement. You can start a thread of your own about last year and make whatever damn claims you want about last year in it, but that has absolutely nothing to do with my thread, retard...

I noticed the absence of the total yardage statistic.

kc dick cheese has rushed to Gurley's aid every single time he's had the chance since the first of September. He's a Dawg fan, not a Gamecock fan.

This thread was not even about Gurley. It was what it is ... bait, good bait, about Davis' fine year so far and you supported it with stats.

Calling this kc guy a retard is far too kind. He's gotten a pass busting Gamecock balls and rushing to Gurley's aid too many times, especially when no Gamecock fan has ever claimed Davis is better than Gurley ... he's making it up as he goes.

retard, moron, arse wipe traitor turn coat ... they all fit the bill for kc4uga.

*Games against FCS opponents excluded.

He is good and I like how he plays the game, but he is not in a class by himself.

If you are willing to admit your piggies have played a cupcake schedule thus far, sure, here you go ...

RUSHING YARDS YDS

1. Alex Collins, ARK 651
2. Rajion Neal, TENN 616
3. Mike Davis, SC 614
4. Jeremy Hill, LSU 593
5. Jonathan Williams, ARK 503

... let's see how it goes against a good defensive line this coming Saturday, shall we?

Most SEC schools don't either...they have at most a primary secondary RB to share carries with, with the #3, #4, etc. backs mainly getting mop-up carries...

Davis is not a Lattimore where he gets 25-30 carries per game (Lattimore didn't get those either, but that's another topic). He is averaging 18 carries per game through 5 games, compared to Gurley averaging 17.8 carries per game through 4. That includes the LSU game where Gurley got injured early on and only had 8 carries for that game.

The other teams that those RBs that Davis is being compared with also don't have QBs that are rushing with the ball as much as USC does with Shaw. Both Shaw and Wilds have as many carries on the season as Davis does, and are averaging a combined 91 ypg rushing, in addition to what Davis produces...

Davis also has twice as many rushing TDs in 5 games than Gurley has in 4. Marshall only had 1 rushing TD thus far, so he wasn't taking scores away from Gurley. Both Shaw and Wilds have 1 rushing TD each...

No, he is still first in yards from scrimmage. He is third in rushing only.

We've played the #5 and #1 rushing defenses in the country. Get that weak shite out of here.
