Obviously the umps have tempered down the fun since 2022, but was it necessary for Bianco to be out there acting like a classless jackass after a kid is celebrating a go ahead home run?

I’m not a huge fan of his antics in particular. I enjoy the bat flips as I think it adds fun to the game, but his crap against Georgia was unnecessary and uncalled for. Tonight hit his first homer (after a poor effort behind the plate), held his bat up and trotted with it 7 or 8 full steps (probably 3 or 4 steps too many) and basically threw his bat up in the air over his shoulder and got some heights on the throw and punctuated it with a stomp on home plate. It was unnecessary. Maybe he’s trying to excite a team that’s been pretty poor over the last 2 years, but from where I am sitting, there’s pimping out a homer and then there is being a jackass. He was the latter IMO.
