And that is Alabama's fault why? Seems this would be an issue for the Hoover Met not Alabama baseball. We had to play somewhere while STS was being overhauled.

Trouble with that argument is I'm pretty sure the locals provide all camera coverage everywhere, including SECN games. A&M game video is (I may be wrong, but don't think so) provided by 12thman.com, for example, not SECN or ESPN or anybody outside College Station. The announcers are 12thman's Will Johnson and former A&M coach Mark Johnson, except for ESPN games. In other words SECN provides the broadcast, and that's about all.

Considering this hasn't been an issue in the past and Alabama is at the Hoover Met for only this season...

Actually several including myself bitched about the A&M at Hoover series. The coverage was terrible. One camera. SD. And for some reason abnormally dark. Just bad. I get the whole Hoover thing but surely a contender like Alabama can do better.

Past as in at Sewell-Thomas Stadium not the Hoover Met.

What would be the point for a temporary fix? Alabama is spending $30 million on new baseball facilities, yet here is a 5 page thread bitching about cameras as if it reflects "poor Alabama" baseball.

Well, you're Alabama after all. Everyone loves bitching about Alabama. Because, you know, you're Alabama.

I don't pretend to know anything about the costs or manpower associated with decent video coverage. But if we hicks from A&M can do it, surely Alabama can afford to do the same thing, 53 miles down the road.

Explain it then. Not some bullshite answer like "we put our money where it matters." Seriously, explain why one of the best athletic programs in the country is using one camera in an SEC series against a top 5 team.
Do you not realize that Alabama isn't playing at their place? It's Hoover while their stadium is renovated.
We could take care of it, but we'd rather hear y'all bitch.

Has to do with the fact that Richt is a great person, a devout Christian and cares for his players, yet punishes them publicly whenever they do anything wrong. In essence, he's lost control of "the team, media, local PD, etc"

For some reason people think they are being original and use it for everything on tRant.

Mighty Alabama is only mighty in football. Never claimed anything different.

In football we can triple any cameras you have to borrow money for

Expect when Patrick Peterson intercepts a crucial pass. Then all of a sudden, there are not enough good camera views to change the "call".

That may have more to do with the quality of the monitor in the booth and the official's interpretation of when he had control of the ball.

Why is this on Alabama?

Isn't the SECn, who is airing the game, responsible for providing the needed cameras?
