If I knew the talent wouldn't be wasted, I'd actually be impressed.

Phillips
Barnett
MPJ
Puryear
Jontay Porter

That's if we don't add any other elite recruits (we will)

That team can definitely compete in the SEC.

Not everyone can only make their last sweet 16 appearance in 1996 like the Hogs.

Very promising news. I guess we have to wait until April 12 before we see something from the boys?

Mizzou roundball is trending up!

Go Tigers!

This has Ben Simmons-LSU written all over it. Although I do think Konz is a better coach than Jones

MPJ is way better than Simmons.

Ok but LSU won 22 games the year before Simmons, Mizzou just won 8.

Mizzou made a great HC hire, and now they made a strategic assistant coaching hire. This should defiantly help the program compete in the SEC

Ok

I mean if we were expecting a final 4 or something then I'd get the comparison...

Hey man, you will always have your 30(or so) minutes of hell and the hope of an elite 8 to wash away that 1996 sweet 16 slip up.

This. I couldn't even stand to watch. It was unwatchable basketball. Good man, just not the coach we needed. Now, I'm excited for the program! Here's to loving Mizzou basketball again!

The comparison is more about a premier talent going to a program where he isn't surrounded by other elite recruits but a really average roster and coach. (and yes before you get mad id say the same thing about Arkansas).

I can't imagine Suitcase Cuonzo is going to give you guys much more than Anderson did so I guess we're even.

If they allow perma-ban bets I would bet you that Cuonzo wins more than 9 games by year 3.
