I played with the oujia board last night and I had a dream I was in 2009/2010.

That is probably one of the biggest plays in CFB history that no one really talks about or mentions.

It's hard for me to say objectively, but it's odd that for a close game with a play like that, I really think it was viewed as somewhat lacking in drama.

As an AU fan I never really thought we'd lose (because of Cam), but the national press weren't convinced we'd win as I recall, so I don't think it was an afterthought. I do think Cam being pretty pedestrian in the game and Auburn having higher drama games 3 years later contribute to it.

Good points. Add in that he was ruled down, and there was a lengthy review that sort of took the air out of the moment.

He wasn’t ruled down but there was a lengthy review.

No, he wasn't ruled down. There was no whistle blown and why the lengthy review afterwards.

Doesn't the wrist count as being down?

“In my opinion, only his hand is down,” Yale’s Swigart said. “The wrist is really defined as the joint. And in this case, only his palm is touching the ground. The palm is considered part of the hand. The forearm is not touching the ground at all.”

Yeah. He got up and stood there for a second before realizing the play was still live.
