Saban isn't a good coach he is a good recruiter and promoter.

Being a good coach doesn't only mean X' and O's, brother.

Wrong, college football is all about what have you done for me lately. Meyer is just getting started.

After tonight, the inmates will begin running the asylum at OSU just like at Florida. Not sure where he'll bolt when that happens. No confidence in Meyer's ability to sustain success.

His dream job may open up again by that time.

I can't wait until Miles is gone, and LSU gets it's third straight Natty Title HC..start giving chase to Bama in gold statues out on the sidewalk.

Until his program has a cancerous player run team like at UF.... where he "had a heart attack" or whatever, and left. I mean, I suppose he could just do what he's doing and rebuild, win one and leave.

I suppose that's a method.

Does that make it less painful that Saban told LSU to frick OFF on Christmas?

The thread is about future posterity.

CUM is clearly an awesome coach, but he is also a bitch.

So Meyer wins a close game against Saban and is all of a sudden the #1 coach in the country? You forget the last two times the two coached against each other, Saban won by a score of 32-13 and 31-6 respectively.

Alabama isn't going anywhere and neither is Ohio State. The two will see each other again.

Meyer has 3 titles at 50 if this score holds. Saban had zero at 50. This is pretty obvious Meyer is ahead. Saban is still awesome though

Don't be mad. Saban did the same thing running to the dolphins. His time is over. Meyer is gonna go down as the best.

They are gonna win it next year too. I can't see Coker doing much. He might beat Jennings if he's still our qb

This "Meyer is the GOAT" thing is literally a tonight trend. Good job hopping on the band wagon. When he wins tonight, people will say it all off season. And for this season, it's pretty well earned. Then, when Saban puts us back and takes another one home people will be wishy washy again and switch to him.

At the end of the day, no one knows how the history books will truly reflect the truth. I would wager though, vegas would take Saban and NC count by the end of their careers.
