Murray has won big games though.. the LSU game this year, for instance..
he's also led the team to some come from behind wins which shows some character.

we get it. You just want to slam the kid. Too bad he doesn't play DT or MLB.
Slidell trash...

further evidence that a serious discussion here is impossible

Mett beat Auburn this year, #3 USC last year and A&M last year. Seem pretty big to me.

i think those are fair responses, fwiw.. it hasn't been a terrible career, by any means.

this wasn't meant to be a serious discussion. Its a flame. The kid dissected the Alabama D through the air two years in a row but came up short. He's played well this year and put LSU in position to win some big games but his D let him down.
Why do you care about his legacy besides shitting on the kid?

How many of his passes were thrown right into BAMA's hands and should have been INT's. # I know of. I saw a few to many throws into coverage as well. I saw some stud recievers helping him out with great adjustments to the ball.

Jesus Christ, you are retarded

How many interceptions did he throw? Oh that's right 0. Doesn't matter what should have happened.

Frankly, I don't see Mett having much of a "legacy." He's a good quarterback who deserves praise for taking great strides over the course of his checkered career, but he seems almost...forgettable? If he flames out in the NFL and we revisit this topic in 10 years, I can't imagine anyone except LSU fans and hardcore fans of other schools will even remember anything about him other than his name.
Yes, I can see the future. No, I'm not going to tell you how Doc and Marty die.

He completed 6 passes for a total of 90 yards vs. A&M last year. 4 turnovers, Taylor Bertolet, and Jeremy Hill beat A&M last year.
And yet, you are going to hang losses on him when he played great, but the OL was only giving him .5 seconds to throw the ball.

Mett will be remembered like a poor man's Matt Stafford.

LSU fans typically daisy pumping ZM. But since they have not had a QB for about 8 years, perhaps they ignorantly believe the hype that ZM is one.
Consider this... something is seriously wrong with ZM, not just physically or psychologically but with his relationship with the team. Last year he was physically isolated in a phone booth and communicated with no one on the bench. This year I've never ever seen him talk or communicate with his offensive line. And then he shows them up with theatrics? .. essentially pointing the finger while giving no kudos.
Plus his inability to shake even modest pressure or remain upright with even a two-handed touch hit...
What OL would give a shite about a player like that or his self obsessed ego? Why NOT let the opponent kill him in the waning stages of a lost cause? That says a lot about his relationship with his OL... and the team ...

Kind of how I view him. 10 years from now if he hasn't had a notable NFL career most people won't know who he is.

Yea you are an idiot.
He talks to oline on the sideline all the time.

I don't see him as a leader. He seems reserved and quiet. Almost insecure. Even in sit down TV interviews he looks at the floor instead of the interviewer or camera when answering questions. He wants to be on the ride but doesn't want to drive the car. I have yet to see him welcome the opportunity to put the team on his shoulders and carry it to victory. That's the difference in him and AJ who is very underrated as a leader.
yep

Yeah, he's better this year, just not very clutch. I think if he had another year he may have been an elite QB, but he fricked himself when he was at Georgia. Hopefully he has a chance to make some money and win big games in the pros.

You act like he just shits the bed and blows the game.
Last two games vs Bama has had the ball in his hands to rally his team and failed.
