But seriously, I understand the other guys, but at this point in the season, what makes people rank Mett above Driskel?
They've both only started 4 games in their careers and their passing numbers are actually pretty similar. But Driskel has the added dimension of being able to run the ball.

AU came to play, and the issues of pass protection and focus (that was pointed out in 1st and 3rd game) have not been solved.

I think Murray is the better pure passing QB and has more talent but McCarron has been more clutch.

LSU looked off tonight...just out of sync. He fumbled twice; once when our backup C came in for a play for an injured Lonergan (muffed snap) and second when he was sacked from behind. Our LT Dworaczyk was face raped on literally every single play...thinking of him against Clowney makes me want to vomit. He is one of Les' favorites though so he won't make a change.
He faced some adversity in this game...a fired up Auburn team that played like their backs were against the wall, a hostile crowd on the road in the SEC, an off night for our offense in general. Still, we won the game and he ended up with decent stats and play. So we'll see where he goes from here.

Driskel could end up being one of the best in the SEC. Still, I have seem him make some truly terrible throws and poor decisions at times, more than Mettenberger. Berger does not make many awful throws.
