He may have herped and derped but he was part of the 17-9 victory over the #2 team in the nation last year. So only 2.5 years

He'd have more if tennessee could even see average through binoculars. Instead it's just another unranked scrub in the win column every year.

Will soon have every substantial passing record in SEC history, has an undergraduate degree from a top 20 public college in America, has not engaged in sexual battery.

Not a bad start.

He'll have his masters when he leaves here (wonder how many posters here have an undergrad and masters in the amount of time he has?) and I thought I read before the season he was starting work on a doctorate.

Sorry...that shite don't fly on the SECRant...Every big loss for UGA has always been Murray's fault, you can't blame the defense. You realize Mett threw 4 incomplete passes in a row on LSU's last possession. If that's not choking I don't know what is...

Could have been said of Murray had he lost the game. OP's research of Mettenberger's 4 games lost is so simplistic compared to Murray's "big game" career at UGA.

The season isn't over yet. There are plenty more of "big games" to be played. We'll see who makes it to ATL and comes out the victor.

Joe Cox's cox was too much for Murray to handle in 2009.

You don't want to go down that road. If we're playing that game, I can point out probably 5 of our 7 losses in 2010, 2 or 3 losses in 2011, the bama game last year, and the clemson game this year as games that shoudn't be on murray.

Mett has nothing to do with that win.

Was it a different game than the one i watched on TV?

Considering Murray has been in this league 2 years longer than Mett.

Until Murray wins the SEC Championship, he hasn't accomplished shite at Georgia. Not trying to completely dog Murray though. Mett has accomplished no more or less than Murray in the big picture

True, and ya know we might lose 1. But as of right now, Murray and UGA are 3-1 in our last 4 games against ranked teams, and Murray has played spectacular in all 4 of them.

For a guy that people said for 3 years couldn't win a big game, that's a pretty fricking good turnaround wouldn't ya say?

Honest question (because I legit don't follow LSU), what is mett's biggest win?

Murray would have played if his shoulder wasn't hurt a month still into the season. But yeah, a true freshman should always beat out a 5th year senior 1/4 of the way through the year. Burn the redshirt!

Beware of this discussion, I learned last week that there absolutely are alternate universes. I spoke with multiple LSU posters who just KNOW there is an article out there where Richt says it was a mistake to kick Mett off the team. The article was scrubbed from the internet and miraculously no media outlet mentioned it this week, but it's there all right.

Pretty sure Richt used Illuminati connections to have such an embarrassment removed.
