please don't because no one really cares except you. maybe i should rephrase since you chose to focus on one sentence of my post, the majority of logical fans do not dispute that manziel is one of the best players in the country. you act as if it's some widespread opinion that mettenberger is way better than the defending heisman trophy winner. i have no idea why you think this is a prevailing opinion. i can guarantee you most of the people ITT are responding the way they are because you're being ridiculous. your OP alone was absurd. i really have no idea why you feel manziel is being disrespected because there might be more than one great quarterback in the conference that has won the last 8 national titles and 4 of the last 6 heisman trophies. go figure right?

i wouldn't say they prove he's a better quarterback. they prove he's a better thrower than Manziel, but the QB position has evolved as such where hybrid QB's like Manziel can even be effective at the next level. But if you take into account Mett's lack of mobility comparative to Manziel, his passing numbers look even more impressive. Manziel has the ability to extend plays so long with his feet that there's an even bigger chance someone is going to be open. Manziel can hide deficiences he may have as a pure thrower because he can improvise so much on the ground. Mett is strictly going off reads, accuracy, and arm strength. Manziel is basically a smaller Tim Tebow with more passing ability. Honestly the dumbest thing the OP said in this entire thread is that Mett has awful pocket presence because he's been sacked 11 times, as if the OL has nothing to do with it. Mett's pocket presence and footwork has been one of the biggest reasons he's improved so much this season.

Not one lsu fan said Mett is better. YOU said they weren't in the same league. Mett has more passing yards , more passing tds, and a better qbr , WITH 50 less snaps. So they are in the same league. That's what lsu fan are arguing.
