He is banned from remerton I believe. Not Valdosta. Both stadiums in the area are in Valdosta, so all is good.

UGA has a concern...defense...allowing a TON of yards the past two games...Clemson had a good offense..USC was middle of the road (but good defense)...shouldnt be allowing 900+ yds of offense after 2 games.

Its funny to me that so many GA posters just want to harp on Mett about his bar "incident" instead of talk about the game. Good luck on Sept. 28th. You gonna need it

Thank you for contributing nothing to the topic. 2012 has absolutely nothing to do with what has occurred within the current season.

Why wouldn't they be cheering for LSU? I mean his mom works for UGA and they live in Oconee, but I mean, ya know..it's their son.

I'm sorry but you just aren't thinking straight if you think a mother is going to cheer against her son

So when the entire Manning family (especially Archie) admitted nonstop that they were Colts fans the night the Saints beat Payton did you just think they were full of shite?

Or how about Vanderbilt's head men's basketball coach admitting numerous times that he cheered for UNC (his son played for them) when they played Vandy in the college baseball playoffs a couple years ago?

Must be NO way Metts Mom will cheer for him

I really don't have a read on this defense yet. I think 7 or 8 true freshmen have played in these games. Most of them weren't even at uga for the spring. And the past two teams have featured very good mobile QBs which make it hard for the more experienced front seven to help cover the inexperience in the secondary. It also didnt help that not only is uga playing so much youth, but nearly all of them were injured for a significant amount of time in the preseason and thus missed most of the scrimmages as well. Mett, as a pocket passer, plays more to uga's strengths as a defense. They like being able to blitz the pocket. They now have a week off to evaluate and learn from what they missed in the first two games, and a warm up game to put those lessons into practice so we will all see if they are better seasoned. If Sanford can get as loud as it was in 2004 mett is going to have a much harder time of it. Remember his bama performance was at home. I am also wondering whether the uga's coaches knowledge of his tendencies at qb might give their defense an edge.
