USCe has Frank Martin while A&M is still stuck with our version of Darrin Horn.

This is almost a mirror image of the difference between Shelby Metcalf and Tony Barone:
Shelby Metcalf's last year to Tony Barone's first year: 10 fewer wins, 6 fewer conference wins.
Mark Turgeon's last year to Billy Kennedy's first year: 10 fewer wins, 6 fewer conference wins.
Both coaches improved by 4 overall wins and 3 conference wins in year 2.
The difference is that Barone made the NIT in year 3 with a 19-11 (10-4) record.

Mike Morgan sabotaged Horn ... of course, it got Morgan fired by Hyman, and rightfully so. If I were Ray Tanner I would not allow Morgan to call any of our games - but he has no power over it plus Morgan used to call his baseball games although our fortunes changed greatly once Morgan was fired and Andy Demitra took over.
But a lot of Horn's problems were residual Morgan sabotage issues.
POS Morgan should be hit by a frickin train.

What did Morgan do to sabatoge Horn exactly?
I remember hearing about him getting fired, but I didn't ever find out why

How confident are Cock fans in Frank Martin. Doesn't seem to be much improvement, granted I've only watched them 3 times or so

7 of our Scholarship players are Freshman and 4 are Soph's...we are a young team, really young. We lost our top 2 PG's this season already (Ellington to the NFL and Tyrone to injury.)
This year will suck, next year should be much better and a much more fair test to see how Martin is doing.

This is pretty much like Year 1 all over again, but then again this team's pretty much completely new compared to last years squad. 7 true freshman, and about 5 of them get major minutes. I think he'll have us on the right track, just going to take sometime after what Horn did to the program.

This as well was a huge hit, Ellington because of the leadership aspect & Ty b/c of the production on the court, another 15-20 point guy out for the year.
