Yep. The reality is that Memphis is a pretty good football team with an elite college quarterback. Memphis snuck up on Ole Miss, believe that. If they played 9 more times, the Rebels probably win every single one of them.

Hunter Henry with the mothafrickin heads up play of the century mixed with Robert Nkemdiche giving up on the play, no one knocking it down, the luck of Collins getting it out of any one, just all of it. Then the fricking face mask on the two-point conversion. Good God that was all just so WAOM and to a 7-5 team that lost to Texas Tech and Toledo at that.
Oh well, Sugar Bowl is still kewl.

The early season version of Memphis would beat Ole Piss more times than not.
Auburn won easily. I picked them to win easily. But Auburn wouldn't have beat late September early October Memphis either.
