An LSU fan should clear up how many starters LSU returns next year? 10 on offense and 5 on D more or less?

LSU will take a step back this year but not like Kiper would lead us to believe. The man is a dumbass.

Just asking your opinion. The rant can have normal chatter can't it?

LSU and Bama are not rivals. Bama fans don't think about LSU.

LSU has assured us that losing 18 starters is no big deal. They'll reload and be just as good.

sounds about right

Yeah, I'm sure all of those teams are 10-3 teams and a few plays away from being 7-6...... in the fricking SEC.

No doubt.

He's right. LSU fans who think we will have 9 or 10 wins next season are borderline delusional. 7-5, 8-4 at best.

heir losses are no different than Alabama losing 3 starting OL and 5 defensive starters.
Bama lost 5 starters on D, but the most important player returned. Mosley

We lose two offensive lineman on offense and Ware, but I don't count ware as a starter and we get Blue back so 9 returning on offense.

Defense is another story. We lose Minter, Mingo, Montgomery, Logan, Simon, and Reid. Downs graduates but Freak Johnson played just as much so we lose 6 starters on defense. I'm worried about this here.

We shall see. He could be right. I see LSU being 3rd, maybe 2nd if they are lucky.

LSU is deep on big physical guys ready to fill in.
I would worry about their offense and the play calling....not who is leaving.

In 2011 we had 15 starters returning. In 2013, we have 14 returning. I think we will be just fine.

This is the overwhelming feeling I get. We have the talent and guys, I'm more worried about having an OC/HC calling stupid plays (i.e. running on 3rd and 13 up the middle against a stacked box, pass on 2nd and 2 and then again on 3rd and 2 when you need to run the clock out).

Kiper also said Jamarcus Russell was the best qb prospect since elway. For the last 4 years , we've lost our best players on defense and remained in contention.

Mosley was not your most important player. Hell for the first 8 or so games, Mosely wasn't even on the field for 1st an 2 nd downs and only came in for obvious passing downs

Reasonable.

Good thing preseason polls and opinions are worthless though.
