Brilliant logic.

I'm not arguing for Cyrus. He's been way too inconsistent for his potential. He needs another season.

Robinson has been the exact opposite this year, which sucks for AU considering next years potential. AU has a legitimate shot of losing both Robinson and Dismukes now, which wasn't even talked about 6 weeks ago. Kind of depressing really.

We all know Mathews is the top OT.

That's quite different than what the gumps were saying before the season. Just making sure we are all on the same page.

Mel Kiper is a great source. His draft predictions vs how the actual nfl draft played out was nearly identical last year. Oh, wait.

I wonder if he regrets his decision, LSU fans?

Thanks man.

Just find it funny that Auburn fans are talking shite to LSU fans. You have 10 schools you've beaten this year that you're more than welcome to talk shite to. But trying to do it against your lone loss? That's just funny.

Also, 49-0, Roll Tide.

To be fair, I'd say at this point in the season Robinson has probably graded out higher than Kouandjio and Richardson. It's a fair evaluation to move him higher.

This thread stems from the vitriol they spewed during his recruitment, their echoes on how they really didn't want him, how he was going to suck (specifically Memphis), and their repeated drivel of Louisiana flops at AU. That's really all it's relevant to, hence why you should probably understand context before jumping in.

Only AU posters brought this into the thread.

I spoke with Robinson on his official after the Ole Miss game. I happened to have a bench pass for that game. He brought a handler with him for the visit.

He made a good decision going to Auburn, and I have no doubt without injury, he can have some productive seasons in the NFL.

But, Kiper is out of his mind on this one. Robinson's play last year was barely acceptable in the SEC. I watched him a lot when reviewing game tapes. I know what I'm talking about.

Kiper is trying to make a splash here by throwing a name out there that hasn't had much pub. NFL talent guys are not going to drool over and waste a first round pick on a blindside tackle for a running team.

I'm willing to make one of those childish internet bets with any of you internet jackasses that Greg Robinson doesn't go in the first round of the NFL draft.

Sig quote, team logo, banishment, whatever. I'd prefer money, but not sure that could be arranged, and it would have to be a substantial amount to make it worth my while.

Regardless, glad to see a LA kid getting some love. Not like this state doesn't have the highest number of NFL players per capita.

But Mel Kiper's opinion and projections in the draft have been as accurate as Ray Charles at a shooting range

Does that carry over to next year also?
