Honest question: do you think the addition of OU and Texas is healthy for the sport as a whole? While it might earn the SEC member schools more money, that hasn’t always translated to on field success and now the middle-bottom tier have to compete with an even more loaded conference. Throw that on top of banishing other conference schools to the dark ages and the vast discrepancy that NIL has in this league over others, I don’t see how anyone else will be able to compete. Prior to Saban and Urban, it felt like every conference could compete. I know this is an SEC centric board (duh) but just wanted to hear some opinions, and if you value your conference over the sport. Thx.

It is the start of MEGA leagues. Mega leagues were going to happen sooner than later, since ou and Texas were going to leave at some point, and the B12 would collapse. Still a few good teams in that conference, which will make B10, AAC stronger.

B10 should pick up ku and ISU.

AAC should pick up as much of the remainder as possible.

Nope, but that’s not our problem

I don't like it, but it's where things are going. There is an end-game in mind. I think the SEC, Big10, and ACC are the hand-picked winners. Pac12 remains to be seen.
