This dude has "extra benefits" issues that date back to high school. Sooner or later it will creep up again.

You're a fool of you believe that. Fournette is the best RB in the SEC. DH is the one that's "not all that" . Unless he has a 6 foot gap to run thru he goes nowhere. Most over hyped RB in a long time. I wish they would just find him a new position or just don't play him at all. For the very few times he actually makes a play , it doesn't make up for the 15 plays he touches the ball and we get NOTHING from him. Id love to have Fournette and so would any other Bama fan that isn't lying to themselves.

Kind of an interesting thread.

Bo Scarborough was by far and away the best athlete of the 2014 class. Considering he's 235 - 40 LBs and could likely beat Peppers or LF in a foot race......he's just an extremely sick athlete

That is the correct answer. Scarbrough will end up being the best back from the 2014 class.

I hate to make this comparison but understand I am only speaking in terms of running style and how athletic each guy is compared to the other. Both their careers were vastly different obviously thanks to other determining factors, but to me comparable to each others running style
Leonard Fournette = Marcus Dupree
Bo Scarborough = Bo Jackson

He (Henry) isn't bad although I think we could use him better / put in better situations. But Fournette is one of the best we've seen in a while, Chubb too. Gurley pre-injury and that SC back whose name escapes me are both right there. Fournette has blown it away to start out, we will see how it rounds out by the end of the year.

Scarbrough's highschool tape is incredible; if his ability translates to the college game and he's used correctly, then he's going to be in New York sooner rather than later. Everyone downplaying this guy is either scared or uninformed.
If he is even halfway in "game shape" then he will be replacing DH in a matter of weeks and maybe not that long.
I've never been too impressed with DH, either in HS or now. In HS, his tape just shows him "being the biggest/fastest guy on the field"; I didn't see to much natural RB ability and still don't. His size/speed is crazy, but he doesn't seem to play to his size nor does he have the elite instincts you'd like.
Scarbrough, on the other hand, reminds me of what would happen if LF and Darren McFadden had a kid.

For someone to play better than how LF is playing right now it would have to be completely incredible. As much as I hate LSU, LF is the best pure running back lately.

Can't really argue with that.

I agree with you about Henry. To be honest as an Alabama fan, I A don't think he is very good and B think that Derrick Henry only cares about Derrick Henry. I never got that sense with any of the high profile kids we've had over the last 5-10 years, but with him I get the sense that it is all about him and only him. I am actually looking forward for him to be gone, he seems like a cancer. I could be totally wrong but thats just the sense I get when he speaks and how he acts.

Bo Scarborough = DH Part 2
They both are good but not close to LF in year 2

I remember when there was no way we would play on 1/9/12. Oklahoma state deserved it more
I remember when bama paid off the NCAA too. It was a tainted system. We see how bama does in a true 4 team playoff system. They would have won again last year due to politics and the bcs but instead were the 4th best team.

Bama fans expecting him to be some sort of difference maker coming off an ACL, not having demonstrated he knows pass pro, or taken any game hits are deluding themselves
I would think the coaches would use him sparingly this season with those points you make. I have no doubt he will be a really good player, but it just not seem like his time is now. You would think the ACL has put him behind in his development. Now next year, on the other hand...
