Best news I've read all morning.
ETA: FWIW, Richt was asked about this twice and apparently responded that UGA would win the East both times. Out of character for him. It moved a little when I read his comment.

I think SC wins it as well, but I'm not going to rule out UGA (got a damn good team as well).
I'm really excited about how the East plays out. Florida will be better as well, those games will be really fun to watch.

First time in SEC where a program was picked to win a division without having a single player picked on 1st team All-SEC teams.
It speaks volumes about the potential for great chemistry for the Gamecocks this coming season ... no superstars, just players.
I like it. Gives them something to shoot for.

There is no telling if we'll win it or not. Hell I could see a scenario where for the 4th straight year we could beat the eventual SEC-E winners (UGA) but still not win the division by losing @AU and @UF.
With that said the fact that the University of South Carolina can lose it's starting QB and a #1 overall NFL Draft Pick and still be picked to win the division the following season? If that doesn't say something about about much our program has changed then I don't know what does.

Yes, and I hate autocorrect. It should give you an option instead of automatically defaulting to what it thinks you're trying to type as you move along .... very frustrating. I find it leads to unfortunate, sometimes amusing, misunderstandings from time to time.
