Did you think about this before you started typing....

and then needed 21 points to win the game in OT.

I'm sorry you don't understand that
I do understand. But we still only needed 14 to win that game. Just like VT only needed 1 point to beat Wake in a game they lost 3-6(it was 0-0 at the end of regulation)

The typo is great, but the HALF A DECADE line is even better. Why not say 5 years

ETA: I would have said 5% of a century for a more dramatic outcome

HALF A DECADE sounds ALOT longer than say 5 years.

Thats why you should have gone with 5% of a century

Nice job jinxing it. Florida got a commit yesterday, getting a commit today from a JUCO offensive lineman, and could be getting another on Friday. Mac on the attack to bring Florida back

If you made every college football fan vote, I would say 80% would say UT will never be dominant again. Yall will be around a 15-20ish program going forward. With as much money every school is willing to spend now, and the fact that every school has exposure, the schools with the easier paths to recruiting will be the top dogs for the most part. I have nothing against UT, I now live in Tennessee and it is a beautiful state. But the recruiting around Knoxville and in the state of Tennessee is just hard

This comment proves you're pretty clueless.

From Hendrix the DE leaving TN:

I just wasn’t happy,” Hendrix told the News-Democrat. “I was happy with my playing time, I just didn’t like it here. Just my relationship with the coaches and how they talk to people. It just kept getting worse as the season went on."

What was that about me being wrong?
Seems like the coaches start treating student athletes worse to influence transfers.

Checkmate you V, B

it is not like they are intimidated to play at Alabama.

Since the 1992 expansion, LSU is 7-4 vs Bama in Tuscaloosa and Bama is 8-4 vs LSU in Tiger Stadium.

In that rivalry, playing on the road is your best bet.

That is very true. It is strange how that one plays out.

Possible responses:
Recruiting board
10-9
10 in a row
Driskel 3-0 as a starter
UF offense > UT offense
Butch is a band geek
.....and on and on.

the LSU bama series has been the reverse of the LSU-aburn series

bama/LSU the away team does well, LSU-auburn its usually the home team doing well.

Which of the Big Six do you play at home this coming year?

Good question and the answer to me is Butch Jones' first signature win.

We play UGA at home next year in our 6th game of the season.

We've lost to them by basically one play each of the last two seasons and I think we break through next year.

I also think we have a shot at beating Oklahoma week 2 in Knoxville and Arkansas at home in week 5 in Knoxville. All would be good wins.

UF is before UGA in week 4 but it is in the swamp. We SHOULD win it being in year 3 vs year 1 and having better classes than them for 2 straight year, but...doubt it happens.

So UGA week 6 is when we stop the Big 6 streak.

Beating Oklahoma would be huge for the program and I agree the Georgia games have been close.

This year, it seemed like home field was worth much more than the typical (three?) points assigned as an advantage. I think this speaks to the growing parity.
