The similarities are there. Muschamp got you guys off to a great start and top 5. The Dawgs knocked you off of that cloud you were on, they took your spot in the SECCG and your melt was just beginning. What makes this year any different. Only serious responses please. You'll be judged on intelligent answers

Ignore the troll. He's a Yankee OSU fan. Enough said.

ETA: Note that he's tried to convince himself that this was a good troll attempt and that it was funny with the self lol emoticon. Pathetic.

That is pretty much where the similarities end...

Good grief. Some of you need to get out more often.

ETA: Not a Floridian by birth anyway not that it matters.

Then there you all are. Like a fat girl to a lit up Krispy Kreme sign. Thanks for taking the bait. Way too damn easy. Especially road gator. He sees a Florida thread and he's got to comment.

Agreed, stereotypes are fun and all, but if you actually visited Florida, you would know that stereotype is inaccurate. That said, if you based that categorization solely on Miami, then you might be onto something. Too bad Miami isn't all of Florida.

Dan Quinn was the reason we went 11-1

Want proof?

UF's defense fell off massively in 2013, and wasn't good till late 2014 and is now much, much better in terms of making big plays like 2012

Seattle went from dominate defense to wtf is happening, why...Quinn left.

Atlanta is 4-0...and dominate.

Dan Quinn is freaking brilliant. He didn't get the credit, but he damn well should have. Dude was a stud DC.

Now...we have a strong offensive mind and a defense loaded with NFL talent. Completely different scenario. Collins isn't as good as Quinn but is great at creating "havoc". It's been a long time since our pass rush has been this sick.

We have an offense capable of scoring points using our players strengths. Not forcing a system, just doing what they do best. Great to see.

Yeah that's really crazy. I can't imagine why a UF fan would reply in a troll thread about their current and former HC

Ironic that an OSU fan makes fun of a Florida fan for commenting in a Florida thread, yet is too stupid to understand that the joke is on him for making the Florida thread.

It is the 5th and the rent is due bitch. Pay up or GTFO

All right fine. Fair enough. I was trying to bring a serious question and you all just think I was trolling. If that's gonna be your attitude, you can find another best friend. I wanted to ask you though, how confident is your defense going up against an unknown quarterback like Lock? You don't know what he's going to throw at you. My Missouri brethren Yankees got some stunts up their sleeves

I think most of the UF fans I have seen are hanging on for the ride and watching to see where it takes them. I don't think they realized how much talent Muschamp brought in and now you have an offensive mind like McElwain scoring points. They could be on a big run. Should be fun watching them.

Well, there is the whole-- Florida actually has an offense this time, thing. Outside of some advanced stats F+, ToP and ball security that offense was just another Boom eyesore.

I realize as an OSU fan you don't really have any big games against ranked teams to focus on this season, but for teams in BCS conferences, its the time of year where everygame matters.

Edited to add: I was being sarcastic but then I actually looked at your schedule-- you guys make Baylor and TCU look like well tested teams- you haven't yet and wont play a single ranked team until after the 20th of November, Boise might have a more grueling schedule.

Good god, if MSU also makes the playoffs it could be even more fraudulent than you guys making it in 2006 then begging for a rematch with Michigan because you didn't want the beating that was coming.

Now that is below the belt. OSU shite the bed vs Florida. No excuses. That's when we knew Tressel let the game pass him by. He was calling 1960's plays and he had to throw a drunk-arse Troy Smith out there to get mauled. Look at that game tape. All he had to do was step up in the pocket to avoid the edge rush. He didn't do it. But hey, Urban is back up North now and we're confident in his play calling.
