This post defines you. I once had a neighbor exactly like you. He always made a point of telling people how well he was doing, what major consumer purchase he had made, etc., even though in most instances his neighbors were doing better. They just thought it crass to discuss. It was almost a compulsion with the guy. Sad.

Been on the SECr since it started, 6 years ago and that is the first time I have said something like that here. 30,000+ posts and 1 on this board mentioning something about how much I make, and only after being antagonized.

Cut him some slack. I'm sure he'll grow into the position. He's paid to give his observations. If that's what he's seeing, so be it. Had someone went on air last year at this time and said AU will tear arse through their schedule and beat UA, everyone would say that person was on crack. Let it play out. Damn.

Watching him talk about A&M right now, and he is doing a really good job IMO, especially for being so new. This is really the first I've seen of him.

I think he will be fine. He has shown some ability and is articulate.
He is however an a-hole and smug IMO. Him flipping off the AU fans in 2010 when bama got up big made that obvious.
Still, I'll give him a shot but he has got to get over his biases, esp about AU or he won't last.
